Anneli du Preez

Anneli qualified as a physiotherapist at the University of Pretoria during 1998. She is one of the founder members and a partner in the practice. Anneli completed courses in Dry Needling, Lyno Therapy, SIJ Dysfunction, Cervical Headaches, General Strapping, Kinesio Taping and Biomechanics of the Lower Limb.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Liezel Schwellnus (Du Preez)

Liezel qualified as a physiotherapist in 1998 from the University of Pretoria. She is one of the founder members and a partner in the practice. Liezel completed the post-graduate Orthopedic Manual Therapy (OMT) course during 2008 and has APDL level 2 registration. She has since 2008 stayed actively involved with the OMT-programme in the form of clinical assistance and lecturing. She has also completed various other courses including Dry Needling, Cervical Headaches, Neurodynamic Assessment and Management, Kinesio and General Strapping. In 2015 she attained a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Witwatersrand. Although she was known under her Du Preez-surname at the time the partnership was formed, she has decided to use her maiden surname ‘Schwellnus’ for professional purposes.

 

 

 

 

 

Marion Maritz

Marion qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2003 from the University of Pretoria. She joined Du Preez Physiotherapists in 2005 and became a partner in 2007. Marion completed one year post-graduate courses in Sport (SPT1 2007) and Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab (CPT1 2009). She has a special interest in sport and ICU and has completed various courses including Dry Needling, Kinesio Taping, Golf Mechanics, Running Injuries and the management of elbow and shoulder injuries.

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

Anneke Gildenduys

Anneke is an active enthusiastic physiotherapist. She graduated B.Sc Physiotherapy in 2014 from the University of the Free State (UFS). In 2015 she completed her community service in Port Elizabeth (PE). Dry needling, shoulder rehabilitation, kinesiology taping and sport management and rehabilitation are amongst some of the courses she completed.  She completed her SPT (Level 1 Sport Physiotherapist) course in 2018.  

Janke Malan

A graduate from the University of Pretoria (UP), Janke Malan joined the Du Preez Physiotherapist team at the beginning of 2017.  After obtaining her BPhysT degree in 2015, she completed her community service year at 1Millitary Hospital, where her interest was sparked in the ICU and sports fields of physiotherapy. Janke has succesfully completed Dry Needling and Kinesio Taping courses. She is also a certified pilates instructor.
